A joint meeting was held on Friday among Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bou Habib, Caretaker Information Minister, Ziad Makary, and Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Sahlawi, over the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which Qatar will host on November 21, 2022.
Minister Bou Habib also met with Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, with whom he discussed his recent visits to Washington, New York, and Brussels, as well as other issues involving Syrian refugee in Lebanon, UNIFIL, and the Lebanese Army.
For his part, the Australian Ambassador congratulated Minister Bou Habib on the successful organization of expatriate elections.
