Bahrain’s addition to France’s ‘Green List’ and UK’s “Amber List’ praised

 

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee at the Council of Representatives, MP Mohammed Al-Sisi, said that Bahrain has begun reaping the fruits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s sound directives and the tireless efforts exerted by Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to eradicate the coronavirus pandemic.

 

He cited Bahrain’s addition to France’s “Green List” and UK’s “Amber List” following its success in bringing down the infection rates to the lowest levels.

 

In this regard, Al-Sisi sent a cable to the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, in which he affirmed the solid Bahraini-French relations which are based on mutual respect and continuous efforts to bolster joint cooperation at all levels, lauding the role played by the French Embassy to enhance bilateral cooperation in order to achieve the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.

 

MP Al-Sisi also sent a cable to the UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Roddy Drummond, in which he praised the British decision to add Bahrain to the “Amber” list, affirming the depth of the long-standing Bahrain-UK relations, and solid ties based on mutual respect, as proved by the UK Embassy’s role in strengthening bilateral relations across all fields.

 

He expressed pride in the level reached by the Bahraini-British relations, thanks to the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to constantly develop them.

 

He also affirmed HM the King’s distinguished relations with the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
