HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met today with HE United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Representative for the Gulf States and Yemen and Director of the UNESCO Office in Doha Salah El Din Zaki Khaled.

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation between the State of Qatar and the organization in the fields of education, culture and environment, and discussed cooperation between the two parties in Yemen.

The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the situation of women in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, HE the Assistant Foreign Minister welcomed the new UNESCO representative in Doha, and wished him success in performing his duties.

For his part, the UNESCO representative congratulated the State of Qatar on its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
