HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met Wednesday with HE Ambassador of Canada to Qatar Isabelle Marie Catherine Martin.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways of enhancing and promoting them, in addition to issues of common interest, particularly girls’ education in Afghanistan.

The meeting also touched on ways of strengthening partnership in development projects, and Qatar’s preparations to host the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5) next month.

HE the Canadian Ambassador extended congratulations to the State of Qatar for its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
