HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met Thursday with HE French Special Envoy for Syria Brigitte Curmi, who is currently visiting the country.
The meeting discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways of enhancing and promoting them, in addition to regional issues of common concern.
HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm position on the need to find a negotiated political solution between all Syrian parties in accordance with Geneva Declaration (1) and Security Council Resolution No. (2254) that preserves Syria’s unity and sovereignty and fulfills the aspirations of its people for security and stability.
