Cairo: The 34th joint meeting between the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) education officials and the 92nd Session of the UNRWA Council for the Education of Palestinian Children convened at the Arab League's General Secretariat.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting reviewed reports submitted by UNRWA's Education Department and by the Directors of Education in the Agency's five fields of operation, including the challenges they face. The meeting also focused on discussing avenues for cooperation, coordination, and support for advancing UNRWA's educational process.

The meeting saw the participation of delegations from host Arab countries: Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, and Lebanon. Additionally, representatives of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), the Association of Arab Universities, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), and UNRWA education officials were in attendance.
