Cairo: The Arab League has vehemently condemned the fresh Iranian assaults on Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

According to Qatar News Agency, the organization warned that this new cascading escalation poses a grave violation of nations' sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, potentially leading to new conflict.

In a statement Wednesday, the organization stressed that this continued escalatory approach not only threatens the security of Arabian Gulf states but also exposes regional security to increasing risks, undermining ongoing de-escalation efforts. The statement highlighted that such an approach erodes attempts to find political solutions to the crisis.

The Arab League reiterated its full support for the three affected nations, emphasizing their right to protect their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. It stated that these nations are entitled to take legitimate measures under international law to defend against any threats or assaults.

The statement called for an immediate halt to these attacks, urging all parties to exercise restraint and refrain from actions that could widen the conflict. The league warned that continued escalation would not address the crisis's root causes and would instead deepen it, increasing the regional costs.

Furthermore, the league emphasized the importance of restoring negotiation and political discussions as the only viable solution to break the cycle of escalation and maintain regional security and stability.
