Arab League has strongly condemned the aggression being launched by the Israeli occupation army on Jenin City, calling on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council and member states to shoulder their responsibility in stopping the Israeli aggression immediately and providing protection to the Palestinian people.
In a statement on Monday, Arab League asserted that such an aggression undermines the endeavors and attempts devoted to reviving the peace track, warning against the grave consequences of this aggression on security and stability in Palestine and the region.
It pointed to the devastation and victimization caused by such a criminal aggression in the context of the persistent escalation of aggression and Israeli incursions with the use of disproportionate military force, including airstrikes against unarmed people in cities, villages and camps, as well as assaults perpetrated by settlers.
Arab League stressed that the occupation state bears full responsibility for this aggression which is tantamount to a war crime and a violation against laws and international legitimacy resolutions.
