According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the rights group said Israeli occupation was taking more land and continuing to establish illegal settlements, further accelerating the process of annexation. Amnesty International highlighted that Israeli occupation forces seized 15 plots of land covering about 20 hectares in July alone. The organization accused the Israeli occupation of establishing military bases on privately owned Palestinian land and targeting Bedouin communities and herders.

Amnesty International warned that a planned road serving settlements in Jenin could isolate the governorate from other Palestinian communities. The rights group expressed concerns over the potential impact of these developments on the region's demographic and geographic landscape.
