Doha:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Anwar Ibrahim held a phone conversation to discuss current regional developments, focusing on the situation in Gaza and the tensions around the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders focused on diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and pursue a lasting solution to enhance stability in the region.

Additionally, HH the Amir extended his condolences to HE Anwar Ibrahim on the passing of his brother, Idrus Ibrahim, expressing his sympathy and praying for mercy for the deceased. HE Anwar Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the Amir's heartfelt condolences.
