Doha: The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) has actively participated in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's "Back to School 2026-2027" campaign, along with the Ministry of Social Development and Family's "Walk Your Kids to School" ("Wassel Eyalak") initiative. These campaigns were conducted through a series of activities hosted at West Walk.

According to Qatar News Agency, AMAN Center, which is affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, set up a pavilion at West Walk. The pavilion provided a variety of educational and interactive activities, aimed at familiarizing visitors with the center's services. The activities were designed to promote personal safety and protection, raise awareness about preventing violence and bullying, and emphasize the significance of family dialogue.

Acting Executive Director of AMAN Center, Fadal Al Kaabi, highlighted that the center's involvement in these campaigns signifies its commitment to engaging in community events that target families and children. He emphasized the importance of these initiatives, especially with the commencement of a new academic year, as they offer a platform to enhance awareness of protection and prevention.

Al Kaabi noted the opportunity to educate children and parents about children's rights, safe behaviors, and the necessity of fostering a supportive and secure school and family environment.

Director of the Community Awareness Department at AMAN Center, Bakhita Al Ghayathin, explained that the participation was focused on delivering innovative awareness messages. These messages were tailored to the target age group and combined interaction and entertainment to maximize impact.

She stated that this approach helps reinforce concepts such as self-respect, safe interaction with others, and the rejection of bullying and violence. It also encourages children to express their feelings and seek support when facing problems, familiarizing them with appropriate problem-solving mechanisms.
