Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani received Qatar’s Ambassador to Iraq Khalid bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, who conveyed to him a congratulatory message from the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the occasion of forming the new government.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance mutual cooperation at various levels, especially in the field of energy, as well as emphasizing the activation of the Iraqi-Qatari Committee, in a manner that consolidates the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries.
The Prime Minister expressed, according to a statement by his media office, his appreciation for Qatar’s hosting of the World Cup, a step that is a source of pride on the part of brotherly and friendly peoples, stressing: “The success of any Arab country in organizing world championships is a success for all Arabs.”
