Gaza: Five Palestinians were killed and others injured today in Israeli shelling of various areas in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that three Palestinians were killed and dozens of others were injured in an Israeli shelling of a five-story residential building in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
A child was also killed by Israeli forces near the Saraya Prison area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. A Palestinian died of wounds he sustained in a previous shelling of the city.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 54,677, the majority of whom are children and women. Another 125,530 have been injured, according to a preliminary toll, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
