Built around the aim of “sustaining an effective response to end the acute phase of the pandemic and transitioning to recovery in WHO’s Eastern Mediterranean Region,” the 2022 edition of the COVID-19 strategic preparedness and response plan (SPRP) was published as an update to the 2021 edition and paves the way forward for 2022
