Walk the Talk Doha 2022 to Take Place On 19 November at Al Bidda Park

Continuing the legacy of promoting physical activity and health for all, the WHO Walk the Talk: Health for All Challenge, supported by the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar, will be held for the first time in Doha on Saturday 19 November, the day before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™

The event, which includes a walk and many interactive sports activities, aims to encourage physical activity to promote health for a healthy and sustainable future.

The Ministry of Public Health and World Health Organization are organizing Walk the Talk Doha through the Sport for Health partnership, in collaboration with FIFA and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.

A range of fun and interactive sporting activities will be available from 8am to 11am on Saturday 19 November for participants to enjoy. Those unable to make it to Doha can take part in the event virtually by tracking their performance through a dedicated mobile app, making the event accessible to people across the world.

The Walk the Talk event was established in 2018 as part of the WHO’s 70th anniversary celebrations. Since its inception, Walk the Talk events have taken place in cities across the world including Geneva, New York and Cairo. Now, for the first time, this unique event will be staged in Doha.
