Geneva: US President Donald Trump announced an extension to the ceasefire with Iran. Trump said in a statement that the ceasefire will be extended until the leadership in Iran can present its proposal to end the war.

According to Qatar News Agency, the US and Iran had initially agreed to a two-week ceasefire that was set to expire today. Despite ongoing discussions, the two sides could not find a breakthrough in their efforts to reach a broader agreement to end the war.
