Washington: The United States has announced a substantial military aid package to Ukraine worth $725 million, focusing on providing large quantities of artillery shells and missiles. This move comes amidst the ongoing military conflict that has persisted since February 24, 2022. According to Qatar News Agency, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated that President Joe Biden has instructed the Department of Defense to expedite the delivery of necessary equipment to Kyiv. This initiative aims to bolster Ukraine's efforts to defend its sovereignty, independence, and freedom with urgency. Sullivan further emphasized the administration's commitment to supplying Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of artillery shells, thousands of additional missiles, and other vital capabilities before the conclusion of President Biden's term. The United States remains Ukraine's primary military ally, providing significant support in its defense efforts.
