The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that the number of internally displaced people (IDPs) in the Gaza Strip since Saturday reached 73,538 IDPs, in 64 of its schools in all areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to the UNRWA report published Sunday, an UNRWA school sheltering displaced families in the Gaza Strip was directly hit and severely damaged, with no casualties recorded.

The Agency said that all UNRWA schools across the Gaza Strip, including the Rehabilitation Centre for Visually Impaired and the two vocational centers in Gaza and Khan Younis, are closed, which impacts more than 300,000 students.
