According to a new release by Jordan News Agency, the official spokesman for UNIFIL in Lebanon, two mortar shells struck the UNIFIL base near Houla at approximately 10 p.m. local time. The injured peacekeeper was immediately evacuated for treatment. In addition to this incident, another shell hit UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura earlier in the afternoon.
