UN Security Council to Convene Monday Meeting Focusing on Palestinian Situation

New York – The UN Security Council is set to convene a meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the Palestinian issue.

According to a new release by Jordan News Agency, the meeting is scheduled to be held at 10:30 Jordan time. The session has been called at the request of Arab countries, aiming to discuss the seriousness of Israel’s aggression and its ground invasion of Gaza that occurred on Friday.

In a day packed with international concerns, the Security Council will also hold three separate meetings in the morning to discuss ongoing issues in Somalia, Libya, and Syria. Likewise, the Council has scheduled three additional meetings in the evening, which will focus on the Sahara and Colombia, along with the Palestinian issue.
