Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has submitted his resignation, Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk announced Wednesday. Stefanchuk said that Kuleba submitted his resignation letter to the Ukrainian parliament, adding that the Parliament is set to consider the motion at one of its upcoming meetings, the Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) reported. Kuleba's resignation comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday announced personnel changes in the Cabinet of Ministers and the Presidential Office, explaining them by the need to strengthen some areas of the government, according to Ukrinform. Zelensky said in an address "The autumn will be extremely important for Ukraine. And our state institutions must be set up so that Ukraine achieves all the results that we need We must strengthen some areas in the government." Ukrainian Parliament received resignation letters yesterday from Strategic Industries Minister Alexander Kamyshin, Justice Minister Denys Maliuska, Ecolo gy Minister Ruslan Strilets, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, and head of the State Property Fund Vitalii Koval.
