Shalofa: Two Egyptian officers were killed in a helicopter crash Tuesday during a training mission in the Shalofa area of the Suez Governorate, east of the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Armed Forces announced that a helicopter crashed in the Shalofa area during training due to a technical malfunction, killing two officers. The statement mentioned that “the necessary measures are being taken by the competent authorities.” This incident follows a previous crash involving an Egyptian military training plane on February 25, 2023, where the pilot fortunately escaped without injuries.
