Doha: Two Palestinians were killed and others were wounded as the Israeli occupation army launched a drone attack on a group of Palestinians behind Sheikh Ajleen Mosque, southwest of Gaza City, Palestinian medical sources said on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that a young woman was shot and injured by the occupation soldiers in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the occupation forces carried out a leveling operation in Beit Lahia in the northern enclave, with the artillery extensively firing salvos east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Sources at Gaza hospitals reported that 13 Palestinians have been killed and others wounded since Tuesday dawn as a result of Israeli firepower in different parts across the Gaza enclave. Today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that since the ceasefire last October, the death toll has climbed to 1,110, with the total number of injuries reaching 3,599, while 800 bodies have been dug out from under the rubble.
The ministry added that the toll of those victimized by the war of annihilation that the Israeli occupation army has been unleashing on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,233 fatalities and 173,707 injuries.
