Two Iraqi officers were injured Monday after a plane belonging to Army Aviation College crashed during a training mission in southern Iraq.
An Iraqi security source said that a bell_407 training plane crashed at the Army Aviation College in the city of Al-Kut, southern Iraq, while practicing local aviation training.
The source added that two officers were injured as a result of the accident and were taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a security operation was launched targeting the Western Desert areas of Anbar Governorate after receiving intelligence information indicating the presence of ISIS cell movements in uninhabited areas.
