Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed on Monday with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is visiting Ankara, strengthening bilateral relations, in addition to discussing a range of global issues.

The two sides shared perspectives on issues included in the agenda of the summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, according to a statement from the Turkish Presidency.

The summit is scheduled to be convened in November in Kazakhstan.
