Turkish authorities said that they arrested eight people on suspicions of being members of ISIS, in a security operation that took place in the south of the country.

The authorities said that the people in question entered the country illegally. Security forces stormed into the place in which they were taking shelter in and arrested them.

ISIS assumed responsibility of a number of security operations in Turkiye over the past year that took the lives and injured hundreds of people.
