Hanoi:Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu held a phone call with his Syrian counterpart, Maj. Gen. Ali Noureddine Al Naasan, to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation between the two military leaders addressed the relations between Turkey and Syria, as well as developments in the region.
The Turkish General Staff released a statement indicating that the call covered bilateral relations and regional developments. Additionally, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported that both officials explored ways to strengthen military ties and enhance cooperation between their countries.
