Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the latest developments in Syria in a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. During the call, Erdogan affirmed Turkiye's support for the unity of Syrian territory and its efforts to reach a just and lasting solution in Syria. He explained that the most important issue in the context of the recent developments in Syria is the need to protect civilians. According to Qatar News Agency, the two presidents also discussed strengthening bilateral relations, in addition to international and regional issues.
