Top Three Winners Crowned in Doh Quran Competition

Doha: The inaugural Doh Quran Competition has capped off, culminating in the crowning of the top three winners. Contestant Youssef Al Aghbari clinched first place and received QR50,000 in cash, Abdullah Abu Shreida secured second place and was awarded a prize of QR30,000, while Mujahid Abdullah Murshid Ali snagged third place, receiving a prize of QR20,000. According to Qatar News Agency, the competition was organized by Barzan Youth Centre and patronized by Ooredoo, attracting 511 participants striving for the perfect recitation of the Holy Qur'an with a beautiful voice. The finals saw 14 contestants performing at the Drama Theater of Katara's Cultural Village Foundation amid a spiritual atmosphere. The judging committee, consisting of Tajweed experts and recitation performance evaluators, conducted an accurate verification process before declaring the winners. The event saw significant engagement, both in person and across digital platforms. The competition's atmosphere, coupled with captivating recitati ons, was shared extensively on social media. The organizing committee focused on producing engaging digital content to highlight the contestants' inspiring stories.
