Tomorrow, Thursday… Iraq will face Oman in the final of the Gulf 25 football Cup in Basra

Baghdad, Our national football team will face its Omani counterpart, tomorrow evening, Thursday, in the final of the 25th Gulf Cup in Basra.

The match will be held at the Basra International Stadium (the trunk of the palm tree) at seven in the evening, followed by a closing ceremony for the tournament.

The Referees Committee of the Arab 25 Gulf Cup Championship “Khaleeji 25” hosted by Basra announced the refereeing staff for the final match, which brings together the teams of Iraq and Oman at the Basra International Stadium, as the committee entrusted the management of the match, which will be held at seven o’clock in the evening, Iraq time, to the staff of Romanian referees team led by Kovacs Stefan, assisted by his compatriots Maritimo Vasili and Aratin Mihai, and the fourth and fifth referees, respectively, the Qatari Salman Al-Falahi and Zaher Al-Shammari.

Frenchman Jeremy Bennard came as a referee for the video assistant, assisted by Moroccan Radwan Jaid and Saudi Abdullah Al-Shehri, while Bahraini Khalifa Al-Dosari resided for the referees.

The meeting between the two teams will be renewed again, after they played at the opening of the tournament, in the match that ended in a goalless draw, on the same stadium on the sixth of December.

After that, the Iraqi national team topped the first group with 7 points, and the Oman national team came behind it with the same number of points, but the goal difference was in favor of the Lions of Mesopotamia.

Iraq reserved its seat in the final of the tournament after defeating Qatar in the semi-final with two goals to one, while Oman defeated Bahrain with a single goal.
