Baghdad, The detachments of the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports, and Residence arrested three people on charges of forging documents at Baghdad International Airport.

A statement by the Directorate stated: “The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports, and Residence at Baghdad International Airport arrested (3) people who were trying to travel via Qatar Airways for Germany, after suspicious of the documents submitted by a “German visa” to the passport officers of Baghdad International Airport.

It added that: “After checking them and sending them for examining documents, and analyzing the data, it was found that they were forged and not authentic and legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the judiciary.”
