Thousands in London March in Solidarity with Palestinians

London – On Saturday, thousands of people took to the streets of London to express solidarity with Palestinians and protest the Israeli war on Gaza. The march called for an “immediate” end to the conflict, as reported by the Independent Television Network (ITV).

According to Jordan News Agency, the demonstrators, carrying Palestinian flags and banners, started their march from Park Lane in Marble Arch, western London, and proceeded towards Piccadilly in central London. They vocalized their opposition to the Israeli war on Palestinians and demanded a permanent ceasefire in the besieged coastal enclave. The Metropolitan Police stated that over 1,500 officers were deployed to manage the march. Additionally, they distributed leaflets to the demonstrators, outlining what could be considered a crime and warning against “racist behaviour.”
