The Ministry of Labour revealed the launch of the third edition of the book “Qatari Achievements in Occupational Safety”, during a special ceremony organized by Sogha Advertising Company at the Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel and Resort.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Meer, Advisor to the Ministry of Labour, His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, President of the Businessmen Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aamal Holding, and a group of dignitaries and media professionals, and included an awards ceremony that honoured the efforts of companies that were distinguished by applying the best health and safety standards in the State of Qatar.
The awards ceremony was one of the highlights of this celebration. The Excellence Awards were given to local companies that have committed to applying the best occupational safety standards in their workplaces. In addition, safety awards were presented to companies in a variety of sectors including SMEs, real estate, oil and gas, retail, and health sector organizations.
