Baghdad, The Head of the Iraqi Football Association, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Gulf 25, “Adnan Darjal”, on behalf of the Association family, offered his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Qatari people on the death of the Vice-President of the Qatari and Asian Football Associations, “Saud Al-Muhannadi”, may God bless him with his wide mercy and grant him a spacious home in his paradise.
The Head of the Federation confirmed: The late was one of the prominent and illustrious personalities in the Arab, Asian and international arenas, and provided great services to the development of sports in general and football in particular, and contributed to bringing about a quantum leap in all the positions he held, as well as his contribution to the development of football at the Gulf level.
He indicated: The late worked hard to strengthen sports relations between the two brotherly countries, Iraq and Qatar, through his keenness, dedication and sincerity in consolidating relations in a way that best serves the march of the two federations.
