Doha: Tarshid Educational Editions, affiliated with the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS), has launched a book on concept-based inquiry in its practical stages: Strategies for Transferable Understanding. According to Qatar News Agency, the genre is authored by Carla Marshall and Rachel French, and translated by Haifa Abu Al Nadi, in a critical step to advance educational practices and support teachers in the Arab world. The book offers a comprehensive reference that fuses theatrical depth with practical application and focuses on concept-based curricula, invoking inquiry as a pivotal tool for learning. It presents clear teaching strategies, real-world examples, visual materials through videos, along with downloadable resources, such as templates and ready-made models. This 549-page genre takes teachers on an educational journey, starting from building the conceptual perceptions of students to transferring and applying them in a variety of educational contexts, from first classes until the 12th class. This conceptual model focuses on the essential interactions between teachers and students through using active questions as a vehicle for the learning process. It encourages students to effectively engage in building knowledge through asking questions and answering them. It likewise offers students multi-disciplinary comprehension, enabling them to adapt to various knowledge attitudes. Overall, the book presents the innovative concept-based inquiry model across eleven chapters, merging theory with field application and highlighting the stages of inquiry in building student understanding and enhancing conceptual thinking. It offers visual support through videos of inquiry in real classrooms worldwide and provides downloadable resources, including templates and chart samples, to facilitate the application of instructional strategies, inviting educators to explore the model and adapt strategies to suit their own classrooms. The educational editions aim to publish books specializing in the Arab peda gogical field. It is one of Tarshid's programs established by ACRPS.
