Khartoum: Chairman of Sudan's Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan and European Union Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Annette Weber, currently visiting Khartoum, discussed Thursday the ongoing efforts to restore peace in the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two sides reviewed regional and international efforts aimed at supporting a comprehensive political solution in Sudan, alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people, and achieving peace and stability.
