The President of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received, today a phone call from the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Molly Phee.

According to Sudan news agency (SUNA), Al-Burhan briefed Molly on the progress of the political process and the ongoing efforts to achieve consensus between the political components in the country to reach a civil government that completes the remainder of the transitional period.

During the phone call, the US official affirmed the support of the United States of America for the political process and everything that would achieve peace and stability in Sudan.
