Doha: The Committee on Social Affairs, Labor, and Housing of the Shura Council convened a meeting on Wednesday under the leadership of HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim. The focal point of the meeting was the government's statement addressing the Shura Council's proposal on "family upbringing," which had been delegated to the committee for evaluation. According to Qatar News Agency, the committee engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the government's statement and its implications for the proposal put forth by the Shura Council. As part of the proceedings, the committee committed to compiling a comprehensive report that includes its perspective on the statement, which will subsequently be presented to the council for further deliberation.
