Sharjah: Sharjah coach Jose Morais has said his team is fully prepared for Thursday's Qatari-Emirati Super Cup match against Al Gharafa at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Doha. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, the Portuguese coach described Al Gharafa as a well-organised side with high-quality players, highlighting former Real Madrid striker Joselu among their key threats. According to Qatar News Agency, Morais stated that Sharjah's focus would be on delivering a strong performance and achieving the best possible result. He added that both teams have equal chances, stressing that the outcome would depend on which side performs best on the day. He dismissed suggestions of added pressure following Emirati teams' success in last season's Super Cup, saying Sharjah's squad believes in its ability to compete and win the title. Sharjah forward Caio Lucas echoed his coach's views, describing the final as a tough challenge. He said finals require maximum focus and effort, adding that the team is ready and motiv ated to lift the trophy. Lucas mentioned he felt no pressure ahead of the match, noting that he enjoys playing in finals and that Sharjah's collective approach will be key to their title hopes.
