Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher with 28.57 Points Gain

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index closed higher on Monday, gaining 28.57 points to settle at 10,845.58 points, with total trading valued at SAR 5.2 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 275 million shares were traded during the session, with 135 companies posting gains and 127 companies closing lower. This reflects a positive shift in the market as investors engaged actively in trading activities.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Parallel Market (Nomu) index did not share the same positive outcome. It ended the session in negative territory, falling 109.94 points to 21,824.46 points. Trading on the Nomu was valued at SAR 15 million, with more than 1.8 million shares exchanged during the session.
