Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Declines While Parallel Market Index Rises

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange main stock index experienced a decline today, closing 20.52 points lower at 10,823.60 points. The total value of transactions reached SAR4.4 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 245 million shares exchanged. Out of the companies involved, 103 saw their stock prices increase, while 154 companies ended the day with lower stock prices. Meanwhile, the Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) saw a rise, closing 40.6 points higher at 21,821.73 points. The transactions on the NOMU were valued at SAR13 million, with a trading volume of 1.7 million shares.
