The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a Su-24 plane crashed in Volgograd Province and landed in a deserted area.
The statement read: “A Su-24 aircraft crashed during a scheduled training flight in the Volgograd region, and was not loaded with any ammunition.”
The Ministry added: “The plane crashed in a deserted area.” There were no injuries or destruction as a result, and Mi-8 helicopters belonging to the search and rescue service were immediately sent to the scene./End
