Some 38 million cubic meters (mcm) were channeled into the Kingdom’s dams in the past 48 hours, raising the total amount to 138 mcm, or 49 percent, of their total capacity of 280.760 mcm against 82mcm, or 29.18 percent that were channeled into dams during the same period of last year. The Ministry of Water and Irrigation on Tuesday said the recent rainfall supplied Mujib and Wala dams with 21.251 mcm and 13 mcm, respectively, increasing their storage to 100 percent and 67 percent, respectively.
