Doha, The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 38.20 points, or 0.38%, to reach the level of 10,158 points at the beginning of trading on Sunday, compared to Thursday’s closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise most sectors, including Industrials by 0.90%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.21%; Real Estate by 0.14%; Insurance by 0.04%; and Transportation declined by 0.01%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Telecoms by 0.78%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.01%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,472 transactions worth QR 76.694 million, distributed to 29. 908 million shares.
