The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 29.36 points, or 0.29%, to reach the level of 10,052 points at the beginning of trading on Thursday, compared to yesterday’s closing.
The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Industrials by 0.68%; Insurance by 0.62%; Telecoms by 0.47%; Real Estate by 0.27%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.08%. On the other hand, Transportation declined by 0.23%, and the Banks and Financial Services remained unchanged.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,229 transactions worth QR 82.923 million, distributed to 32.288 million shares.
