The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 27.91 points, or 0.27%, at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, to reach the level of 10,292 points, compared to yesterday’s closing.
The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Transportation by 1.14%; Telecoms by 0.88%; Industrials by 0.45%; Real Estate by 0.11%; and Insurance by 0.03%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Banks and Financial Services by 0.01%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.22%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,621 transactions worth QR 79.322 million, distributed to 36.616 million shares.
