Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) experienced an increase of 58.61 points, or 0.56%, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching the level of 10,478. According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index received support from six sectors, including Telecoms, which rose by 1.11%, and Industrials, which saw an increase of 0.94%. The Real Estate sector climbed by 0.56%, while Banks and Financial Services experienced a growth of 0.35%. Additionally, Consumer Goods and Services advanced by 0.26%, and Transportation inched up by 0.14%. However, the Insurance sector saw a decline of 0.15%. By around 10:00 am, the trading volume reached 24.934 million shares, conducted through 1,900 transactions, with a total value of QR 46.465 million.
