Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Tuesday’s trading by 45.92 points, or 0.45%, to reach the level of 10,317.92 points, compared to the closing of yesterday’s trading.

Qatar Stock Exchange figures attributed the rise in the general index to the improved performance of all sectors, led by the industrial sector, which rose by 0.92%, the insurance sector by 0.49%, telecoms by 0.40%, real estate by 0.29%, banks and financial services by 0.28%, transportation by 0.24%, and finally the consumer goods and services sector by 0.06%.

At 10:00 a.m, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth QR 80,210,773.209, distributed among 34,521,631 shares, with a total of 2,595 transactions.
