QSE Index Records a Decline of 79.38 Points

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded Tuesday's trading session with a decline of 79.38 points, or 0.79 percent, closing at 10,018.06 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw the trading of 158,763,806 shares, amounting to a total value of QAR 331,524,920.482. These transactions were spread across 22,604 deals involving all sectors.

The trading session witnessed 18 companies registering an increase in their share prices, while 27 companies saw a decline, and six companies' shares remained unchanged.

By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization was QAR 601,954,015,444.430, a decrease from QAR 606,810,041,734.014 noted in the preceding session.
