Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Thursday's trading session lower by 64.58 points, or 0.61 percent, reaching 10,510.92 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 252,753,386 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 858,911,691.104 through 23,980 transactions across all sectors. The shares of 18 companies advanced, while those of 31 companies declined, with the shares of five companies remaining unchanged.

Market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QAR 635,610,978,049.868 compared to QAR 639,025,544,150.386 in the previous session.
